Australian Sikh Grammar School to open in Sydney with admissions in ’21
The thirty thousand plus Sikh population in Sydney prepares for their first Sikh School, which will be the first of its kind educational project by Sikhs in Australia.
As the population of Sikhs grows manifold in Australia, especially in Sydney, a Sikh non-profit organisation of Sikhs has raised 5 million dollars for the first Australian Sikh Grammar School to come up in the prestigious Rouse Hill area of the city, which will cater to more than a thousand children and is planned to be a multicultural school, which will provide an easy atmosphere for Sikh students.
Kuldeep Singh is the sheet anchor of the project. It is proposed that the school will have teachings in Sikhism and also an ANZAC Sikh Museum.
The school is likely to have its first admission in the academic session beginning 2021.
