Al­leg­ing full com­plic­ity of for­mer DGP Pun­jab Sumedh Saini in acts of ex­tra­ju­di­cial killings and rights vi­o­la­tions in Pun­jab over the last three decades. Dal Khalsa has de­manded his ar­rest and pros­e­cu­tion.

Party spokesper­son Kan­warpal Singh has said that he has man­aged to es­cape jus­tice due to bless­ings of the state, pa­tron­age of for­mer Pun­jab CM Parkash Singh Badal and SAD chief Sukhbir Singh Badal. Yes­ter­day Pun­jab min­is­ter Tri­pat Ra­jin­der Singh Ba­jwa ex­posed the bru­tal­ity and mur­der­ous acts of Saini in the Pun­jab as­sem­bly.

“Saini is guilty of en­forced dis­ap­pear­ances of lawyer Kul­want Singh and his fam­ily, mem­bers of Saini Mo­tors, burn­ing down of Bal­winder Singh Jat­tana’s fam­ily, and killing of two Sikh pro­test­ers in Be­hbal Kalan fir­ing”, said the min­is­ter on the floor of the house.

A brave ac­tion must fol­low a brave face shown by the Con­gress in ex­pos­ing Saini’s acts and we await his ar­rest by the Amarinder Singh gov­ern­ment, said the Dal Khalsa spokesper­son.
