Dal Khalsa urges marchers into Delhi to maintain unprecedented peace on 26 Jan, warns govt. of any attempt to do mischief
Amidst fears of violence that may be initiated by miscreant elements, lumpen elements, stooges of government agencies, hooligans at the behest of the government, Dal Khalsa and its sister organisation would be participating in the 26 January Tractor March into Delhi led by party President Harpal Singh Cheema, in full solidarity with the thousands of farmers at the Kissan Ekta Morcha on the borders of Delhi. WSN reports.
THE WORLD IS WATCHING. INTERNATIONAL MEDIA HAS DESCENDED ON SINGHU-TIKRI BORDER. The Sikh world would be participating in person and spirit, the farmers from all across India would be there, in defiance of the government’s anti-people laws. The Sikh world is in prayer, holding its breath and worried about what would happen in Delhi in the next 72 hours.
The incident of an intruder caught by farmers last night is an eye-opener and now his retraction from his statement is a typical method used by agencies to protect its trained stooges.
To defeat the designs of the government, it is an opportunity for the farmers to show the spirit of the Guru Ka Bagh Morcha and show unprecedented peace, patience and discipline.
In a strident note to the government of India, former Dal Khalsa head Harcharanjit Singh Dhami said, “The government should not make any mischief. It stalled the negotiations over 11 round of talks and delivered nothing. The blame for any sinister attempt -overt or covert to derail the peaceful protest would like on the shoulders of the Delhi police and the government of India.”
Dal Khalsa urged all joining the protest and the Tractors March to Delhi to maintain peace and discipline and not give any handle to the security forces to use force against the farmers in the Tractor March on 26 January 2021.
“We have not yet forgotten what happened to Sikhs in November 1984 and the Muslims in Gujarat in 2002. In both these genocidal massacres, the agencies and lumpens of the government engineered attacks on innocent Sikhs.
Giving expression to the apprehensions of many a Sikh in Punjab and worldwide, party spokesperson Kanwarpal Singh said that “We are all very worried about the thousands of farmers and their lives.”
The attitude of the ministers of the government, including Minister for Agriculture Narinder Singh Tomar, clearly shows that the government has progressed from being stubborn to now become perpetrators of assaults on Farmers’ leadership and farmers.
Harcharanjit Singh Dhami made a fervent appeal to the international community and said, “History has afforded democratic countries to keep a vigil on the Kissan Ekta Morcha and even pressurize the Indian government to ensure that justice is done to the protesting farmers.” Through their embassies and media of respective countries, facts and truth of the Kisan Morcha and rights of farmers must be communicated worldwide.
