It is not NIA but MIA says Lok Insaaf Party chief Bains
Castigating the Indian government for initiating proceedings of investigation through the National Investigative Agency against Farmer leaders, singers, journalists, videographers and activists, Lok Insaaf Party President Simarjit Singh Bains called the agency MIA -Modi Investigative Agency and denounced the attempt to crush the dissenting voice of farmers and farmer leaders and their supporters.
The Lok Insaaf Party, in a statement issued in Ludhiana by its party president, denounced the proceedings by the National Investigative Agency against many people in Punjab. Simarjit Singh Bains said, “This is a murder of democracy. This is actually Modi Investigative Agency and Modi is doing this to create fear psychosis amongst others so that people favour the Bharatiya Janata Party.
“The people of Punjab will not be overawed by such notices and such notices are nothing but garbage not even worth the paper on which they are written,” he added.
The Tractor march into Delhi on 26 March is going to infuse more support to the Farmers Morcha and their resolve to continue their fight for their rights.
Member of the Punjab Legislative Assembly Simarjit Singh Bains demanded in the strongest possible terms reiterated that the only way out of the present situation for the Government of India is to repeal the anti-farmer anti-people farm laws, accept the demand for legalising Minimum Support Prices (MSP) and abandon the proposals to penalise stubble burning and increments in electricity charges.
Bains quipped, “Modi has to decide whether he wants to save face or go down in history as a despot.”
