Harvin­der Singh Sarna al­leges mas­sive mis­use of DS­GMC funds

Shi­ro­mani Akali Dal leader Harvin­der Singh Sarna, at a press con­fer­ence in Delhi, has al­leged that there has been mas­sive bungling of Delhi Sikh Gur­d­wara Man­age­ment Com­mit­tee funds by the in­cum­bent Pres­i­dent Man­jin­der Singh Sirsa and the pre­sent Ex­ec­u­tive Com­mit­tee.

Harvin­der Singh Sarna has asked for in­de­pen­dent au­dit­ing of DS­GMC ac­counts. He said that his party the Delhi Akali Dal will con­tinue to ex­pose mis­ap­pro­pri­a­tion of funds. He al­leged that the Bharatiya Janta Party has been in­ter­fer­ing in Sikh re­li­gious af­fairs and termed it as “one of the biggest at­tacks on Sikhism.”

He ques­tioned the clo­sure re­port by the Delhi po­lice against the cor­rup­tion case filed against for­mer DS­GMC pres­i­dent Man­jit Singh GK.

He said that “there is sub­stan­tial ev­i­dence that DS­GMC ve­hi­cles, funds and staff has been used dur­ing elec­tion­eer­ing in Pun­jab.”

He also gave de­tails of cases of fraud that they have filed by the Delhi Akali Dal.
