Shiromani Akali Dal leader Harvinder Singh Sarna, at a press conference in Delhi, has alleged that there has been massive bungling of Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee funds by the incumbent President Manjinder Singh Sirsa and the present Executive Committee.

Harvinder Singh Sarna has asked for independent auditing of DSGMC accounts. He said that his party the Delhi Akali Dal will continue to expose misappropriation of funds. He alleged that the Bharatiya Janta Party has been interfering in Sikh religious affairs and termed it as “one of the biggest attacks on Sikhism.”

He questioned the closure report by the Delhi police against the corruption case filed against former DSGMC president Manjit Singh GK.

He said that “there is substantial evidence that DSGMC vehicles, funds and staff has been used during electioneering in Punjab.”

He also gave details of cases of fraud that they have filed by the Delhi Akali Dal.
