Guru Gobind Singh Parkash celebrations grand closing in Patna Sahib

Like the opening ceremony, once again Patna Sahib gears for grand closing ceremony for 350 year Parkash Purab celebrations of Guru Gobind Singh as thousands of pilgrims are expected to reach.

In continuation with the glorious manner in which the 350 year Parkash Purab celebrations were observed by the Chief Minister Nitish Kumar led Bihar government, the Patna administration has started making moves for the grand closing ceremony likely to be held in the last week of December later this year.

As the state expects as many as three thousand pilgrims from across the country, massive efforts are on to make the closing celebrations as smooth, effective and heart-warming for the Sikhs as the opening ceremony.

Takht Harmandir Ji Patna Sahib is the birthplace of Guru Gobind Singh, and one of the five revered Takhts -centres of Sikhism.  The opening ceremony was held in the vast Gandhi maidan whereas the closing ceremony is likely to be held in the precincts of the Takht itself.
