Not to for­get Sha­heen Bagh ver­sus Ay­o­d­haya Tem­ple. The night be­fore the elec­tions is the night when de­ci­sions are made. Join heads and hands to de­feat the forces of hate, false­hood, skewed progress, dom­i­na­tion and sub­ju­ga­tion. Let all mi­nori­ties -Sikhs, Mus­lims, Tamils, Dal­its and the mar­gin­alised con­verge ranks and show the door to the Bharatiya Janata Party in the Delhi As­sem­bly elec­tions on 8 Feb­ru­ary.

PRESS THE EVM BUT­TON SO HARD THAT THE CUR­RENT FROM SHA­HEEN BAGH and the mul­ti­ple Sha­heen Baghs in the coun­try reach the por­tals of pow­ers in Delhi en­sur­ing the de­feat of the Bharatiya Janata Party. All Sikhs, Mus­lims, Tamils and Dal­its of Delhi must take a con­certed stand to vote against the hate-mon­ger­ing and di­vi­sive pol­i­tics of the BJP.

If the Pun­jab of 1984 is not to be re­peated; if the Delhi of No­vem­ber 1984 is not to be re­peated again; if the Mum­bai of 1992-93 is not to be re­peated; if the Gu­jarat of 2002 is not to be re­peated and if the Jamia of 2020 is not to be re­peated, close your ranks in the next 36 hours and en­sure that you vote against the Bharatiya Janata Party in the Delhi As­sem­bly elec­tions.

Do not bother who will win, en­sure that the BJP loses.

You owe it to the moth­ers and daugh­ters of Sha­heen Bagh.  You owe it to the stu­dents of Jamia Milia Is­lamia who bore the brunt of po­lice bru­tal­ity.  You owe it to the hun­dreds of Mus­lims who have been de­tained un­der var­i­ous dra­con­ian pro­vi­sions in the In­dian state of Ut­tar Pradesh. You owe it to the 11-year old Mus­lim school­girl in Sha­heen School, Bidar, whose mother has been de­tained for sedi­tion be­cause she played a school drama against the CAA. You owe it to the Jamia stu­dent who lost an eye, the mother in Sha­heen Bagh who lost a tod­dler to the cold of Delhi and the Kash­miri stu­dent of Jamia who was shot at by lumpens of the BJP.

The whole of In­dia may have to wait till 2024 to change the di­rec­tion of this coun­try, but the peo­ple of Delhi have the chance to do it day af­ter to­mor­row.
