Sikhs, Muslims, Tamils and Dalits must unitedly vote to defeat BJP in Delhi

The fight is for truth versus falsehood, love versus hate, self-respect versus a misleading notion of progress, dissent versus domination, opposition versus subjugation and a multicultural society versus the one-nation theory. Not to forget Shaheen Bagh versus Ayodhaya Temple. The night before the elections is the night when decisions are made. Join heads and hands to defeat the forces of hate, falsehood, skewed progress, domination and subjugation. Let all minorities -Sikhs, Muslims, Tamils, Dalits and the marginalised converge ranks and show the door to the Bharatiya Janata Party in the Delhi Assembly elections on 8 February.

PRESS THE EVM BUTTON SO HARD THAT THE CURRENT FROM SHAHEEN BAGH and the multiple Shaheen Baghs in the country reach the portals of powers in Delhi ensuring the defeat of the Bharatiya Janata Party. All Sikhs, Muslims, Tamils and Dalits of Delhi must take a concerted stand to vote against the hate-mongering and divisive politics of the BJP.

If the Punjab of 1984 is not to be repeated; if the Delhi of November 1984 is not to be repeated again; if the Mumbai of 1992-93 is not to be repeated; if the Gujarat of 2002 is not to be repeated and if the Jamia of 2020 is not to be repeated, close your ranks in the next 36 hours and ensure that you vote against the Bharatiya Janata Party in the Delhi Assembly elections.

Do not bother who will win, ensure that the BJP loses.

You owe it to the mothers and daughters of Shaheen Bagh.  You owe it to the students of Jamia Milia Islamia who bore the brunt of police brutality.  You owe it to the hundreds of Muslims who have been detained under various draconian provisions in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. You owe it to the 11-year old Muslim schoolgirl in Shaheen School, Bidar, whose mother has been detained for sedition because she played a school drama against the CAA. You owe it to the Jamia student who lost an eye, the mother in Shaheen Bagh who lost a toddler to the cold of Delhi and the Kashmiri student of Jamia who was shot at by lumpens of the BJP.

The whole of India may have to wait till 2024 to change the direction of this country, but the people of Delhi have the chance to do it day after tomorrow.

The entire right-wing brigade from the whole country is camping in Delhi They have polarised the polity. You are already on the other side. You have nothing to lose. This is the best way to slap the Anurag Thakurs, Parvesh Vermas and their lot.

25 lakh Muslims, 5 lakh Sikhs, 4 lakh Punjabis, 30 lakh Dalits and 21 lakh Tamils and other people from the South must close their ranks and defeat the new avatars of divisive politics.  If you take even one step in this direction, the politics of India is in for a change.

8 February 2020. Defeat BJP.
