Montreal: The World Sikh Organization of Canada joins the Canadian Civil Liberties Association, National Council of Canadian Muslims and Ms Ichrak Nourel Hak to challenge Québec’s Act respecting the laicity of the State, which prohibits the wearing of religious symbols by certain public sector employees. This discriminatory law will have an enormous impact on the Sikhs, said WSO President Mukhbir Singh and Vice-President Amrit Kaur.
